RETRO ACTIVE released October 5, 1993 is an album that features touched-up versions of B-sides and previously unreleased recordings from the band's recording sessions between 1984 and 1993. The album debut at #6 on the UK Album Chart and #9 on Billboard Top 200 Album chart.  This is the first album to feature songs recorded with newly added guitarist Vivian Campbell

Found an old Metal Edge interview that Joe did in 1994 talking about the release of Retro Active.
I thought this was interesting when he was discussing the song selection process, "Good Morning Freedom was a b-side from the first album, but that was the Willis-Clark period and anything before '83 we left alone."
I wonder if that would ever be revisited for a Retro Active II?
