DEF LEPPARD ROCK BRIGADE

We are currently finalizing the setup of the DEF LEPPARD ROCK BRIGADE, Def Leppard's new official Fan Club. The Def Leppard Rock Brigade is working closely with the band members to ensure that the fans will get the best fan experience possible. Members of the official Def Leppard Fan Club enjoy the following perks:

The Def Leppard Rock Brigade is a continuation of the previous Fan Club. Memberships remain active, which means that if you signed up or renewed any time in 2009, your subscription will be valid for another year, starting on the date of the re-launch of the Rock Brigade. We expect to re-launch in September 2010. If your subscription ended before October 1st, 2009, your membership will not be transferred to the Rock Brigade.

Below you will find a more detailed description of all Fan Club perks (SUBJECT TO CHANGE):

Welcome kit

Upon signing up, every new member will receive a welcome kit, which contains a letter from the band in PDF format, desktop wallpapers, messenger/forum icons and avatars and a printable membership card.

For a small additional fee, you can also get an additional PHYSICAL welcome kit. This kit contains a printed letter from the band, a T-shirt (every year a new one) and a membership laminate pass. The pass is a novelty item only and will not give you access to any Def Leppard shows or events, or any other privileges..

Member-only areas

The basis of the Fan Club is your access to our exclusive content. In the FAN CLUB section of DefLeppard.com, which is only available with a Fan Club username and password, you'll get access to exclusive photos, videos, articles, interviews, contests, and more. There is a possiblity that we will also add live webcams or chat sessions with the band in the future, or listening parties for new music from the band.

Presale access to tickets

Once the band goes on tour again (2011 is the plan!), every member of the Fan Club will receive a code that will grant access to online presales at the regular ticket selling sites (LiveNation, TicketMaster). Presales generally take place 2 or 3 days before the general onsale (details to follow).

Those who want to buy VIP tickets (usually with early venue access, access to a VIP party, gift bag, parking, etc.) will also get access to Fan Club-only presales a few days before the general onsale (details to follow).

Malvin's Pumphouse

This section is so exclusive, even we don't have full access to it. Our trusted tour manager Malvin Mortimer (AKA Stumpus Maximus) has a certain talent for working in/on/under/at his Florida pumphouse, that should not be kept under wraps (according to himself at least). And whether you like it or not, he insists we share it with you.

The Vault

The Def Leppard Vault is the place where you can view Def Leppard articles and items from the past. The Vault contains some classic articles from magazines such as Circus, Metal Edge and Metal Hammer, but also old fan club magazines and newsletters, so you can see how previous Def Leppard fan clubs broke news to the fans in the pre-Internet era.

Merchandise benefits

As a Def Leppard Fan Club member, you will enjoy many benefits in our upcoming online store. The store (and its merchandise) are currently under development, but once it will be launched you will get discounts on most items, or get items that won't be available to the general public ("Fan Club Web Exclusives").

For limited edition items that are expected to sell out quickly, we will reserve a small amount that will be available first to Fan Club members only, so that you will get "first dibs" at these.
