Hi, Joe & Sav,
Hope your well.
Here's my questions:

Like how you got the title for Rock of Ages, did this
happen with any other songs? If so, what song(s)?

After Steve's passing, have any of you guys got
a chance to visit him?

If you guys could please answer this question, as I
would greatly appreciate this very much, thanks.

Have any of your fans sent you guys anything in
remembrance of Steve?
Reason for asking because in December 2000 I sent a
white notebook with pics & articles of Steve which I
was informed was sent to you Joe. The note attached reads:
To Def Leppard in remembrance of Steve Clark from your
number one fan Christine Bird.

Forever a Def Leppard fan - NYS

CarlettaKay 06/01/12 2012 11:31:41 PM

When are you guys going to come out with a new album??? I can't wait to hear some new material!!

midge22 06/02/12 2012 03:16:41 AM

Joe, I was wondering if you have ever had voice lessons or a voice coach?

Dana Lynne 06/02/12 2012 01:58:47 PM

Have you ever been asked to perform music at a special occasion such as a wedding reception or an adult birthday party?

HystericalJ 06/02/12 2012 10:07:13 PM

Hey Joe & Sav! In light of Snoop Dogg and company having the Tupac hologram performing on stage...would Def Leppard ever consider having a Steve Clark hologram do his famous solo on one of your future tours?

HystericalJ 06/02/12 2012 10:11:54 PM

Hey Joe and Sav! I have noticed that some bands returning to the "80's" electronic drumbeats in some music...has Rick Allen ever debated on returning to the electronic drum sound of Hysteria and Adrenalize for a future album or tour?

HystericalJ 06/02/12 2012 10:23:54 PM

Hi Joe & Sav! Are you guys or any other members of Def Leppard close to or have relationships with Steve's parents or siblings over the years? and do they ever come to Def Leppard concerts?

HollyFaith 06/02/12 2012 10:28:20 PM

Hey Joe,

Any chance your fans could get a picture of you and Finlay?

HystericalJ 06/02/12 2012 10:30:11 PM

Hi Joe & Sav! Do you guys get treated differently in the US compared to back in the UK when out in the public? and do you guys ever have time to just kick back and have family time...say a cookout?

HystericalJ 06/02/12 2012 10:52:08 PM

Hey Guys! Has "life at the top" of the world and having celebrity status ever made you feel like you have missed out on anything in life or wish there was anything you could have done differently?

HystericalJ 06/02/12 2012 11:01:54 PM

Hey Joe & Sav! First want to say Thanks for taking the time to answer your fans like me. I have many questions, but this one is the one that keeps me wondering anytime I jam to Def Leppard (old or new school)...If Steve Clark was still with us, would he still be a member of Def leppard? if not, what do you think would have been in line for him? Is there another band that would have wanted Steve more than Def Leppard?

Hey Guys hope you are going good. I've been getting my metal head friends into Pyromania lately, it is a sweet album with killer licks. I was watching a documentary on The New Wave of British Heavy Metal where you said that you saw the band as like a mix of AC/DC and Queen. So my question is what AC/DC album and what Queen album had the biggest influence of you guys, and are you still inspired by those bands with your new material?

Have you ever considered a small club/venue setting for hard core fans featuring a deeper cuts? The Offspring has done this to much hardcore fan satisfaction.

Gerhard-Calitz 06/04/12 2012 10:15:01 PM

In my circle of friends, everyone knows that Def Leppard has been my favorite band for the last thirty years. I am happy to have spent thousands of dollars on merchandise as it has brought me immeasurable amounts of joy.

On the occasions when I've met the band, there have been questions that I've wanted to ask but, felt that they could be misinterpreted as insulting. However, I would never want you to feel that way.

In your promo video for "YouTube Presents," you asked for the burning questions that we've always wanted to ask you. Here's mine:

Respectfully, (having "British accents" like you do) when recording "Too Late For Love", was a conscious decision made for the lyrics to be sung with an emphasis on enunciating the "T" sound in the word "Late" and if so, why?

Thank you in advance!

Oleana 06/04/12 2012 11:07:33 PM

Really looking forward to this years tour. Waiting patiently for a Pacific Northwest concert like Seattle, The Gorge, or Spokane to be added to the your. My question....are you still adding dates for the Rock of Ages Tour or am I sadly out of luck to see you this year?

jversh 06/05/12 2012 12:51:47 AM

Hello Guys!
Here's my question. Are the 2012 versions of PSSOM and Rock of Ages completely brand new re-recordings of the originals or did you incorporate earlier already recorded elements into these new arrangements? The reason I'm asking is because you managed to retain the essence of the originals while still giving them a slight modern edge. And Joe, your vocals are astonishingly powerful and just flat out awesome. Thanks guys, see you in St Louis is August. John from Missouri.

Hi Joe & Sav. Here's my question:
I was womdering when you guys going to tour in england again and will it be this year. As i saw you guys in concert in 2008 in cardiff which was great. And Joe your are the best looking out of all the guys.

hau523 06/06/12 2012 01:14:38 AM

I was wondering if your families go on tour with you or if you take breaks to fly back home to be with them during the duration of the tour? I'm sure that's tough being away for so long.
Also, what was Rick Allen's mom thinking letting him go on tour with AC/DC when he was a babe at the age of 15? I know, that as a mother myself, but of 3 girls, there is no way that would have happened. Good for her, though!
Thanks from Cincinnati!
Can't wait to see you in July!
