This page is to help you with any questions you may have about the ticketing process on DefLeppard.com and the Def Leppard Fan Club site. Please read it carefully before you send us any support requests. Most of the questions we receive are answered on this page.
1. Should I get tickets through the Fan Club presale or through I Love All Access? Which are better?
Both the Fan Club and I Love All Access receive a certain allotment of similar tickets. You can end up 3rd row with
Fan Club tickets and then 7th row with I Love All Access, but it could also be the other way around. With the
Fan Club presale tickets, you will ONLY get a ticket. With I Love All Access, you will
get a VIP package that includes a ticket and some more (depending on the type of package).
2. OK, I am a Def Leppard Fan Club member and I just want two tickets and nothing else. How do I get them through the Fan Club presale?
If you are a paid member of the Fan Club, you should receive have received an email on September 16 or 17. This email contains a unique, 8-character passcode that will give you access to the presales on LiveNation.com or Ticketmaster.com. With this code ready in hand, follow the next steps once the presale takes place.
- Go to http://www.defleppard.com/tour to see the list of tour dates and click on the link of the show you want to buy tickets for in the TICKETS column. This will take you to LiveNation's page (or Ticketmaster) where you can buy tickets.
- On that page, click on the Buy Tickets link next to "Def Leppard Fan Club Presale". You will now be taken to the page where you can look for tickets, but you will see that you can not select them yet.
- From the Promotions dropdown, select "Def Leppard Fan Club Presale", enter your unique passcode and hit SUBMIT. Several types of tickets will now be "unlocked" lower down the page and you can select the tickets you want. After this, follow the instructions for payment, etc.
3. I am a Def Leppard Fan Club member and I actually want a VIP package. How do I get that through presales?
If you are a paid member of the Fan Club, go to http://fanclub.defleppard.com. On the NEWS page, you will find the Fan Club exclusive password (contrary to the Fan Club passcode for regular tickets, this password is NOT unique). As always, I Love All Access passwords change with every round of presales, so this is a different password than the previous passwords "badactress", "euphoria", "sparkle" and "foolin"! With this code ready in hand, follow the next steps.
- Go to http://www.defleppard.com/tour/ilaa.asp to see when (and for which shows) Fan Club members will get early access to the VIP Package presales.
- Go to http://www.iloveallaccess.com and click on the Def Leppard icon. A popup window will show up, asking for a password.
- Enter the password you found on the Fan Club page (this is NOT the unique passcode that was/will be sent to you by email, mentioned in question 2!), and follow the instructions to select a package, payment, etc.
4. I never got an email with unique passcode for the regular presales.
If you were a paid member of the Fan Club on September 14, you should have received an email on September 16 or 17, and another email a week later.
If you haven't received a passcode, please contact the Fan Club's support desk at http://fanclub.defleppard.com/contact and ask for your unique code.
The password for the I Love All Access presales is NOT being sent out in an email, but can be found on the Fan Club site.

5. I'm confused. Which password should I use for what now?
- If you want regular tickets, you will get access to LiveNation's October 6/7 presales with the unique personal passcode (that has been distributed among Fan Club members by email).
- If you want a VIP package, you will get access to I Love All Access' September 22 presales with the password that is published on http://fanclub.defleppard.com/node/1298 (you will need to be a Fan Club member to be able to view this page). This is a DIFFERENT one than the passwords for previous presales, which were "badactress", "euphoria" and "sparkle". See http://www.defleppard.com/tour/ilaa.asp for exact times when presales start.
- If you want a VIP package, but you are NOT a member of the Fan Club, you will get access to I Love All Access' September 30 presales with the password "keeprockin". See http://www.defleppard.com/tour/ilaa.asp for exact times when general access starts.
6. I received a passcode last week in March, can/should I use this for the upcoming September presales as well?
No. You will have to use the passcode that was sent out to all paid Fan Club members on September 16, or a week later. If this one doesn't work, try the old one that you received in March. If that one doesn't work either, please contact LiveNation (not the Fan Club). The Fan Club only passes on codes that they receive from LiveNation, so they can NOT help you if the code you received doesn't work.
7. I did receive an email but it didn't contain the passcode.
Click on the link at the top of the email that says "If you have trouble reading this email, please go to the online version". You will be taken to a page that will show your unique passcode.
8. Who sells the tickets, actually? The Fan Club, right?
No, LiveNation and I Love All Access are the companies that actually sell the tickets. Both companies have a presale window that will allow people who have a password, to buy tickets. LiveNation hands out unique passcode to the Fan Club, who then distributes them among its members. I Love All Access hands out one password to the Fan Club, who then shares this password with all its members. Hence, in both cases, the Def Leppard Fan Club only participates in this process by passing on passwords from LiveNation and I Love All Access to its members.
9. My password isn't recognized.
First, make sure that you entered the password correctly (cAse sEnSITivE) in the correct field, and that you did not mix up passcodes. The code for LiveNation presales is a random, 8 or 10-character code (e.g. "DL09so3he5") and the code for I Love All Access is usually a word combination (e.g. "rockofages"). If you are sure you made no mistakes, you will have to contact the party that is selling the tickets (LiveNation or I Love All Access). The Def Leppard Fan Club can not help you with this -- as said before, they only pass on passwords that they received from LiveNation and I Love All Access.
10. I am having other troubles while trying to select/order tickets (credit card not accepted, timeouts, etc.)
Please contact LiveNation (if you're trying to buy regular tickets) or I Love All Access (if you're trying to buy a VIP package). Since the sales process is being done through these parties' resp. systems, the Def Leppard Fan Club is unable help you with this.
11. I bought tickets through the presale and I got row 24. Later on, I checked and they had tickets in row 11 available. How is that?
During the presales, many fans try to buy tickets at the same time. At a given point, when someone is looking for tickets, he may be offered certain tickets in row 11. At this point in the process, these tickets are taken out of the available inventory and are put "on hold" for all other fans, until the buying process is complete. However, if this person decides NOT to buy these tickets after all, they are "released" again so they can be offered to someone else. Because of this, it's possible that you did not see tickets in row 11 at one time, but DID see them later.
When many fans try to buy tickets at the same time, it is likely that a lot of great tickets are put "on hold" at the same time (because they are in the process of being bought) and then released again later if these fans decide not to buy them. As a result, it is possible that some better tickets are available later.

12. The tickets I ended up with aren't that good.
Please note that a Fan Club passcode does not guarantee that you will get the best tickets, but it does give you the opportunity to buy tickets during the presale period. Also note that there are literally thousands of fans trying to get tickets at the same time, and it is impossible to give ALL of them front row tickets.
13. When I wanted to buy tickets during the presale, they were already sold out!
Tickets for some shows will go fast. With (literally) thousands of fans trying to get tickets at the same time, you sometimes have to be quick. A Fan Club passcode does not guarantee tickets, it gives you access to the presales.
14. I saw front row tickets for a show offered on eBay even before the presale started. What gives?
It's possible that someone who has a season pass for a certain venue (which means he has guaranteed front row seats for any show) decided to put his tickets up for sale. We have no control over what other people do with their tickets.
15. What are the other presales and VIP packages that are offered on the LiveNation site?
The Def Leppard Fan Club is only involved in the Fan Club presales held by LiveNation and I Love All Access. Unfortunately, we are unable to give any information about any other type of programs or presales that are taking place.
16. How can I check if my Fan Club membership is still current?
Go to http://fanclub.defleppard.com and log in with your username/password. If you are then able to watch videos, view photos and log in to the chat room, your membership is still current. If, after logging in, you do not have access to these sections, you will have to renew your membership.
17. I forgot my username/password for the Fan Club site.
Go to http://fanclub.defleppard.com/user/password and enter your username or email address, and a new password will be sent to you. If your username or email address is not recognized and you are sure you entered it correctly, please contact the Fan Club support desk at http://fanclub.defleppard.com/contact for help.
18. How many tickets can I buy?
With one presale code, you can buy up to FOUR tickets. LiveNation gives you the following options for using your passcode:
- 4 tickets for 1 show
- 3 tickets for 1 show, 1 ticket for another show
- 2 tickets for 1 show, 2 tickets for another show
- 2 tickets for 1 show, 1 ticket for another show, and 1 for another show
- 4 tickets for 4 shows (1 ticket per show)
19. Do tickets bought during the Fan Club presale give me any other priviliges?
No, they are regular concert tickets, not VIP tickets or backstage passes.
20. I signed up to get presale tickets and I ended up with very bad seats. Can I get my Fan Club membership money back?
If you used your passcode to buy tickets during the presale, the Fan Club can not give you a refund. Please note that if you are offered seats that you think are bad (or not worth the price), we recommend that you not buy them. Again, Fan Club membership does not GUARANTEE you any tickets, it only gives you ACCESS to LiveNation's presales. Membership also gives you other perks, such as access to exclusive photos/videos and the chat room. Refunds can not be given if you did not end up with front row seats.
A refund will only be given if you were unable to get tickets that were the immediate result of any errors by the Fan Club.
