Opening for Billy Squier
8 August 1983 Wyoming. LOL - disnae even have the city! Wyoming is the least populated state (even lower than Alaska) and a mighty big place with loads of space in between cities. Dinnae say you cannae remember bein' in Casper as ya probably stayed at the Hilton down the hill from the events center if ya stayed there at all.
Ah that makes me laugh, ya loons! Doric aside, thanks for the signed shirt! I won't sell it on e-bay ever. I promise.
March 29, 1983 - my first Def Lep show - opening for Billy Squier. Show #61 will be on July 11th in NJ!
Dec 1983 at Westenfallenhalle West Germany, my last overseas concert and the best of all 35 rock concerts I went to prior. Rick Allen inspired me in the style I use in drumming. Today he is my hero, cause he is still better at the drums with one arm than I've ever been with two.
If I had a wish with the make a wish foundation I would wish to play a duet on drums with Rick. Fortunately don't have to go there.
So I'll stettle with a meet and greet...oh yeahhhh
My first concert was seeing Def Lep when they were opening for Billy Squire (April 1st, 1983). I don't see that date here on the list, but I do have my ticket stub still ! :)
It was a great show! They blew Billy off the stage. Half of the audience left after DL's hour long opening slot set. Ah.....good memories....
I seen them in Erlangen Germany on October 16 1983. That date is not listed on the website. Special guest was a all girl band named Rock Goddess. They kicked ass!
I will see them again on July 16th 2014 with Kiss in Nashville at Bridgestone Arena!
19 february Poperinge. Was backstage that evening :-)
