🚨 NEW LEPPARD VAULT COLLECTION! 🚨
In July 1982, Phil Collen walked into Battery Studios to audition for Def Leppard. He plugged in his Ibanez Destroyer and nailed “Stagefright” in the first take. He had similar results with “Foolin’,” “Photograph,” and “Rock of Ages,” and then impressed the band even further with his singing chops. Next thing he knew, Phil was on the Pyromania tour and the album was catching fire all around the world. “Okay,” Phil thought, “I guess I’m in the band.” 🎸
In July 1982, Phil Collen joined Def Leppard and helped boost the band to superstardom. In the latest Leppard Vault collection, we celebrate Phil’s earliest days with the band. Explore NOW at LeppardVault.com 🤘

Get ready to air guitar 🎸….Check out Phil’s new video “Quadrant 4” with his Delta Deep bandmates Forrest Robinson (drums) and Craig Martini (bass).
“I recruited Drummer Forrest Robinson and bass player Craig Martini to accompany me on this track. We did a shred guitar, hard rock update of the 1973 jazz rock fusion classic “Quadrant 4”. I’ve always loved the version from Billy Cobham’s Spectrum album that featured Tommy Bolin on guitar. We (Delta Deep) opened up our set with this song every night on Joe Satriani’s G3 tour in 2018 and it was always a breakneck blast. I also wanted to let everyone know about some of the stuff I’ve been doing during Covid. This is just one of the amazing compositions I’ve recorded. More to come…” -Phil
